Paypal payment question

I have Paypla set up to receive money through Woocommerce store setup. Will a standard Paypal account enable credit card payments to be received or do I need to upgrade my Paypal account?

    As far as i know you need to have a premier or business account to be able to accept credit card payment.

    As I know, there is a limitation of amount you can receive if you have not yet linked your paypal to bank account.

      I have made sites before and linked them to my BUSINESS paypal account, and have had no issues with accepting credit cards. I cannot comment on the limits as mentioned above, as most of my transactions were under $100/ea.

      Your best bet is to get it all set up and incorporated within your site, and try it out for yourself. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, have a friend, or fellow warrior try, and then reimburse them the money. You obviously don't have to ship anything, but you can test out your setup.

    Have a business account -- but also VERIFY the account to get rid of the limits.

    It takes 3-5 business days to do this - where they will put some small deposits in your bank account -- report those, and your account will be verified.
