Android Tablet Dropshipping

I use to purchase 100-200 Android Tablets from a Chinese company back in late 2011; I stopped due to some legal reasons. I wanted to start back up again, but I was thinking drop-shipping will be much easier on the pocketbook up front.

Has anyone done any dropshipping for tablets, and specifically Android Tablets? Any help will always be... much appreciated.

    Don't do it.


    Reputable tablet companies don't dropship. Especially from China. No matter how 'reputable' they claim to be.

      Clearly you dont know the difference between a manufacturer and a import export company.

          We can drop-ship. Plus convenience, speed, native speakers of english, and the fact that many "factories" on alibaba are not factories they are agents.

            The last part of your reply is absolutely correct. That is why I teach how to tell which suppliers are genuine manufacturers.

            Alibaba is not the only sourcing web portal that has many suppliers implying or outright pretending to be factories. Alibaba is not among the handful of safe sites that appear in my book.

            Dropshipping may allow small profits on some products, but buying direct from the factory, even in small quantities can provide substantial profits. Genuine android manufacturers will not dropship, so take care.

    Now im confused, and im not even sure how alibaba got brought into things ( I would never use them). So before I plunk any money down on items, I am OBVIOUSLY missing something here. Can someone explain? If he goes to the maker of android, then certainly he can import/export in bulk correct?
