Is there a way to figure out who a website's dropshipper is?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has any good/creative ideas on how to figure out who a given website/company's drop-shipper is?

I found a site who is offering a couple products, and after doing a little research, I figured out that they are definitely drop-shipping the products.

I would like to figure out who their dropshipper is, but don't have any idea on how to do so...

I know the whole point of drop shipping is to hide the identity of the dropshipper, but I'm hoping someone here has some ideas. I have SCOURED google, trying to find someone who dropships these products at a similar price-point, but I can't find anyone near as competitive.

Any thoughts or ideas?

    I wold say, more than 9 times out of 10, the drop shipper is the manufacturer. The margin is getting too slim by the time it gets to a wholesaler, IMO.

    Go to the manufacturer, and set up a relationship with them.

    But, if you want to find the dropshipper, ask for their distributors. From there, they'll be able to give their warehouses/wholesalers and you can reverse engineer from there.

    Take a bottom up approach instead of a top-down approach.

    Order a product from them and look for the manufacturing tag, and use Google to find the manufacturer's website. Just an idea, not sure if it works with your concerned product(s).

      I agree; they are probably ordering straight from the manufacturer. While sourcing, I ran into such a wealth of dropshipping sites. Some of them even point OUT that they get their products dropshipped so it was easy to spot them. "We get our products shipped straight from the manufacturer to you." This told me something bigger:

      I needed to stop fooling around and go straight to the manufacturer myself. It also told me I was wasting my time. Dont waste even more time emailing the manfacturers- call them.

      I now have a list of all the manufacturers and have been hitting them one by one. If they do not dropship, they will be happy to give you their distributors and then you can apply with them. Unfortunately for me, MOST of the giants I approached in my niche do NOT dropship, but I was happy as heck to find two that did- and on some very impressive brand name products I was dying to get my hands on.

      If they are correctly "blind dropship" products, you maybe find that there are only technical details on tag and no clues to manufacturer
