Which Ecommerce platform?

I have a friend that has recently opened up there own card shop offline and are looking to go online.

Ecommerce is not high on my knowledge list and i'm looking for a good ecommerce platform or a ecommerce website builder of some kind.

Looking to get up a running shop online quickly as possible.

Anyone with any recommendations?

    it depends of the type of business, catalogue size, update frecuency of the catalogue, etc.
    for an small catalogue where you dont need big quantity of payment gateways, i would use wordpress + woocommerce

    if you need a semi proffesional shopping cart i would use prestashop

    if you want the best and most used ecommerce platform use magento

    Yes, it depends on your needs, budget, customization needs.

    I personally use and recommend Big Commerce to my clients.

    BigCommerce and Shopify are both quick to setup, similar functions and features, BigCommerce is slightly cheaper and charges no transaction fees, with Shopify you need to pay transaction fee if you are not using their most expensive package or paying annually...

    If you know how to setup wordpress, use the Shopperpress theme from Premiumpress or the ecommerce themes from Elegant themes, both work great

        I personally use shopify for my business. Simple, affordable, and easy to use. Fulfilling orders is also a walk in the park
