Need help with titles on an ecommerce site's subdirectories

Hi, I'm very, very new to this so please excuse my silliness. I was wondering about how to set up an ecommerce site. Suppose I were selling DVD movies (not my niche) and I want my site to have categories like horror movies, romantic comedies, etc. But since these keywords (horror movies, romantic comedies, etc) will be too hard to rank, I find low-competition in these categories like (I'm making this up) Tibetan horror movies or Afghan romantic comedies. How do I rank for these low-competition keywords WHILE keeping my own titles somewhat user-friendly. Would I put these low-competition keywords in the titles:

1) "HORROR MOVIES -- including Tibetan horror movies!"

Wouldn't this look cheesy? And would this cause Google to penalize my website since I'm obviously trying to rank for "Tibetan horror movies"?

2) HORROR MOVIES

Only "HORROR MOVIES" and put "Tibetan horror movies" in descriptions on that page somewhere. Would this make me less likely to rank for "Tibetan horror movies" if it's not in the title?

A help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
