If you're searching for a legitimate dropshipper of nanny cams and other gadgets then look no further then check out Wholesaler of stun guns, pepper sprays, Tasers, self defense products. They use a sales page but you don't have to pay anything to get started. Just setup your shopping cart and load up the products. If you want a disk with all of their product images and descriptions you can purchase that for about $20. But you can take the images and descriptions from their website examples.

  • There goes another market now even more saturated by an announcement on 'what to sell'.

Tip for potential sellers: Do your market research, niche research, and profitability research. THEN choose a supplier.

A bottom up approach is better than a top-down approach.

I never cease to be amazed at how many people fail to follow the sound approach advocated by auctiondebteliminator.

On this and other forums I read posts by people who blunder in thinking that all they need is a bright idea and presto they are in business. No research other than to follow the crowd. There seems to be a mentality that if everyone else is advertising product X there must be money to be made so let's join them.

Whoever said that you need to sell the nanny cams on Ebay? The only thing you need are some lesser competitive keywords so that you can rank higher in Google.

I never mentioned eBay in my post reply.

But the research is universal when you're researching - whether Internet or even brick-and-mortar.

Know your market, know your product, and know HOW to do your research.

    Wow, more "sign up pages".

Anyways, I would say good luck trying to compete with manufacturers that now sell their own product online.

And now that Google Shopping no longer allows for these "weapons of Mass Destruction". Then I would say, they are even no more aggressive than before trying to secure their online marketshare.

This is one good reason why I teach that people wanting to make money selling physical products should start thinking outside the square.

Despite what most seem to think, it is possible to place small orders direct with the factory at prices you will never get from wholesalers or dropshippers. As for the importing part, that is a snack.

There are a lot of people on Ebay who are shipping their products directly from China and Hong Kong. So that tells me that it's possible to get products dropshipped directly from overseas suppliers.

Quite right Greg, there are a lot of people on eBay getting products from dropshippers in mainland China and Hong Kong.

The question is do they want to make more profit? If so they should look for manufacturers who do not dropship but who will accept very small orders if you negotiate correctly with them.

I teach how to do it, how to avoid scam sites, and how to import with the greatest of ease, but it involves changing from the herd mentality that seems to drive large numbers of sellers on eBay etc., who have to try to sell what everyone else is trying to sell regardless of profit, or lack of it.

I have to add something onto what auction debt eliminator said there.... make sure there ARE suppliers. I been having a very hard time finding suppliers for one niche, and that said it kind of makes me wish I would have started with looking for suppliers BEFORE researching but... I didnt. Just for this one niche though. Has me so aggravated!

      Hi Audarah,

Are you wedded to the idea of finding a dropshipper for your niche product? If you are having trouble finding a supplier, that is probably a very good thing. It means you won't be overwhelmed by masses of competition from people who have found that item or product type with a dropshipper and have to cut margins to the bone in order to try to sell something.

I teach how to safely source any product direct from the factory even in small quantities at genuine ex-factory prices. I even teach how to get suppliers to come to you. If the product exists, you can find it. If you find it where the average reseller can't find it, you should be on a winner.

Yep, I am wedded to the idea! I knew there is a supplier out there, just heck if I can find it! I see other ecommerce sites ( some are owned by the same IP address) but STILL cannot find the supplier. I found two. One wants a store front ( dont have it). The other is just asking ridiculous prices and has very low stock but is a HUGE company. I just found another tonight that carries some of the brands, and will check them out tomorrow. They were buried way way way in google and I only ran across them once in two months of searching. Driving me BONKERS. I even went to the manufacturers and got their distributors. STILL cant find the darn supplier that dropships. Im beginning to think in my niche, they just all buy in bulk and do NOT dropship. Save it all for themselves kind of thing. Oye!

Are you looking to buy brand name products? If so, that's probably why you can't find a dropshipper. The only way to get your hands on many of the popular brands is to buy liquidation. That's how most Ebayers get their hands on products such as MAC cosmetics. If you contact the company they'll tell you that they only distribute their products through major department stores. Any supplier that claims otherwise is selling Chinese fakes.
