I'm working on a concept in direct marketing in a niche that doesn't have it. How do I go about protecting my customer base if I begin by bringing the program to a current distributor/dropshipper?

Thanks!

There is one sure fire way and that is don't use distributors or dropshippers.

I can teach you how to safely source small or large quantities of any product you could imagine, direct from genuine manufacturers. The prices will amaze you. You will be buying as cheaply as the distributors and dropshippers do.

I also teach how to make the importing procedure a breeze.

Your question highlights one of the big problems in dropshipping. Many dropshippers sell direct to the customer and resellers are giving them a big customer list that they can approach direct. Check out my website for ideas.

I might be looking at starting with 30-40 products, eventually 200-300 products. I was trying to avoid upfront capital costs in stocking inventory until I get a good idea of top sellers, then gradually warehousing my own inventory on those better selling products.

I guess one solution is having the distributor/importer drop shipping to my office then reshipping it out to the customer. Adds to cost but adds protection of customer list.

there are catalog type companies in this niche, how would I approach them for dropshipping while protecting myself? or possibly a private label program?

will check out your site. thanks.

    Any other ideas?
