What Do You Think About This Idea?

Hi Warrior Family!

Could you guys please offer your best advice on these 3 questions?:

1. I'm interested in building an affiliate site, but the template that I'm thinking about using will be an eCommerce style template. Let's say that I want to have an eCommerce style, but instead of the "Buy Now" buttons or "Add To Cart" buttons, I could have "Read More" buttons that would open up the Review page which then would have the actual "Affiliate Link" button to view the actual vendors. Does this sound like a decent idea or have you tried this?

2. Also, If I were to buy an eCommerce type of template, do you think that it would still rank just as easily as Wordpress type of templates or as far as SEO goes? Personally, I like the way that eCommerce templates look than the way that Blog Posts on a Wordpress blog look. So I guess that's why I really want to roll with using eCommerce style.

3. What type of eCommerce template would you recommend for this idea & why?

Would definitely appreciate the honest advice/opinions (especially if you already have the experience)!

Thanks!
-Aaron E.

In what way does your reply have any relevance to what I'm asking? I'm assuming that this is spam & needs to be taken down...

Search in the WSO section for a theme called Candyzon. This might be exactly what you are looking for.

This is what I do but I use auto-generated sites. I would leave the "Buy Now" or "Add to Cart" buttons as they are, but link directly to the product page on the merchant's site.

As far as SEO is concerned, my results have not been that great lately. The best I have done is over $2K a month but is now down to the low hundreds. This is because large auto-generated sites are regarded as spam sites by Google. Moreover after the "Mayday" update, Google prefers product pages with unique information. This is not possible for products pulled from datafeeds or API.
