Anyone heard of Ultimento? I'm looking at buying a new template for my site and came across this. Apparently it has tons of built-in features/extensions, as well as a few templates (though they are lacking in terms of design).

Magento Themes / Magento Extensions | ULTIMENTO

One thing that I really like is the One-Step Checkout feature...something that I definitely need for conversions (and would prefer not to pay a ton for).

Anyone had any good/bad experiences with this? I'm thinking of trying it out...

Ultimento is very good. We use a highly customized version of Ultimento and we are very happy with it. Unlike many Magento themes it is coded for SEO and for speed with is very important with a Magento site.

Ultimento is relatively expensive for a Magento theme but depending on the features you require it is probably cheaper then buying them separately. For example if you require an optimized check out, exploding menus, Facebook login, or SEO features buying any of them might cost more than Ultimento and those features are already included.

Another key factor is that its easy to customize so it doesn't look like a generic store. Also the tech support is very good.

Wow, awesome. That's exactly the kind of response I was looking for! I will have to try it out and customize it.

SEO is definitely important, as well as speed...my site is super slow. Those additional extensions are pushing me towards Ultimento.

Could you send me (either here or via PM) the link to your store and check out the customizations you have, for reference?

      Thanks a bunch!

There is also Ultimo which i think is similar but not quite on a par with Ultimento. it does however offer child themes which might feel familiar to you if you have used wordpress etc before with a framework.

What modifications have you made to it? We are looking at making a customised verion of magento with all the features it should really contain included by default. sounds like you have got there already
