For a first time ecommerce site, is PayPal Express the starting point; this is until the business gets rolling (kneeling down in prayer). It does allow for other cards without being a PayPal member. I believe the fees are comparable with a sale as others. Only that there is no monthly or set-up fee. What do you all think?

Yes, paypal is definitly a good starting point giving the fact that it is widely used and indeed it accepts credit cards.

During the beginning, you wouldn't feel the transaction fees at all, until you reach $4-5k where you start to complain a bit. Then after, it gets worse.

However, there is a possibility to apply to a degressive fee plans according to your monthly turnover.

The major drawback for us is that the transaction fees do vary a lot according to the country, the invoices are paid from.

To sum up, Paypal is necessary to start a paid to go online business, not using it would be translated as a straight loss in leads.

Have you ever used PayPal's labeling system? What is the cost of use? It seems so easy, but, I know, things can get costly when all bundled into one package.
