Sorry that I'm starting a new thread here to ask this simple question I probably would easily find using a google search. I did found information but I got contradicting information. Some say it's best to pay using escrow and never use paypal while some information indicated it's best to pay with paypal. I hope some warriors here could help me.
Thank you in advance!

why would paypal not be a good option? it gives you 45 days of security...if no goods you dispute (as long as you pay by purchasing goods, don't fall off to the trap that you send money as pay to friends or family, some people ask for this but if you pay that way, you lose any security that there was)

If you pay with a credit card via PayPal you are kind of "double-covered." If the factory tries to pull a fast one, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company AND at PayPal and one or both are bound to go through.

The payment methods to really avoid are: Western Union, bank wire and cashier's check. All 3 of those methods offer little or no protection.

PayPal is recognized worldwide and you can be confident they will back you up in terms of security. What you should be worried about if your seller can be trusted or not.

Really as long as you pay with your credit card you'll pretty well protected. You can easily do a chargeback if anything goes wrong. Also, make sure you read the reviews about the seller. Don't just look at the percentage. Read the actual reviews because some people will complain of slow shipping or defective items but still give a review of like 4/5. Lastly, only use a payment method covered with the Aliexpress buyer protection.

    paypal is a good tool.
For scale up business, it is not easy to receive paypal over 50k USD in China.

Of course, PayPal is the most secure way to pay the seller in any merchant site. if you have paid the amount through credit card in PayPal, then it is doubled protected.
