Hey everyone!

I have a logo and a bunch of designs that I need printed onto clothing (My own unique designs). These would all to be resold on my online and local business. Would finding someone in china/some other foreign country be the best and cheapest way to go?
I'm in Australia by the way.

Also, should I be aware of any major legal things before I start? Should I get my main logo copyrighted first before I stick it on my shirts and get it printed?

Any advice would be great thanks

    Hi Linzey,
In addition to the answers I gave to your message, I would say that you would probably do best to go to local importers in Australia, or even to one of the remaining local manufacturers.

In most western countries there are still businesses manufacturing at competitive prices. They will usually be using imported fabric but you would still have the advantage of a "Made In Australia" label.

You would also have some benefit of protection of your design. Copyright is obtained by the simple expedient of claiming it and showing on the item the copyright symbol and year and your name. Designs printed for you in China may well appear worldwide by the time you receive your first shipment.

I'm not sure how much it would cost if you buy from China but here I can print my own t-shirt for as low as $2 per shirt depending on the amount, the colors and the design

If you choose a local manufacturers you can see the quality of their work before you buy their product, some manufacturers are using cheap material and cheap ink, you don't want that
