Let's Talk Colors
For those that don't know, colors are extremely important in sales. Every color elicits a different response from the consumer. Typically in internet marketing, people prefer red as it stands out, creates a call to action, etc.
How do you guys go about choosing the color schemes for your ecommerce sites?
Personally, I'm partial to reverse engineering competitor sites. I take a look at what the top sellers are doing, and make mine similar or better. That goes for colors as well. I'm assuming the niche is also important or the feeling you are trying to convey to the consumer.
Right now I've been using a lot of maroon, light green, and purple. (Not on the same site)
