Hi ,
I’m trying to add more products to my store and wondering is it worthwhile to have use affiliate links from such sites as Amazon/CJ etc seeing that they have a giant database of products. With that being said will that work against as i’m redirecting customers away from my site?

In general for an ecommerce store you don't want to deter your customers away from purchasing the products on your website with affiliate banners or ads, simply because they generally have much lower margins on conversions. That said, you can always test it out and see if it works for your site.

Keep in mind, another approach you can take is listing products on your website (alongside the dropshipped products) that are actually affiliate products and just have the 'add to cart' button send the visitor to purchase on the retail site you're an affiliate for. This often times makes a lot of sense as an approach for a new store that doesn't have a large selection available to its users yet.
