Average Orders Per Day On Your E-Commerce Site?

I am considering having a couple of e-commerce sites built and have a few questions I thought I would throw out for response:

1. What's the average number of sales your site(s) receives each day?

2. How long did it take to start receiving sales once the site(s) went "live"?

3. What do you spend on average each day marketing the site(s)?

Thanks!

    Hi,

No replies, huh? Bear in mind:

    1. Will vary massively depending on the site - some one here will make one online sales per week and make far more money than someone else making 100 sales per week.
    2. This will depend how good your site it is, how in-demand your products/services are and how hard you work!

Amazon gets 35 per second. You'll obviously need a nationwide network of warehouses before launching your sites!

But really... it's going to depend entirely on your marketing campaigns, how well the sites sell the items, and whether your pricing is any good.

If you can get 10,000 prospects into the store a day and can convert 5% of them, you might have 500 orders a day. If you launch a free AdWords campaign and buy 50 clicks a day, you might have one order a day... or your products might not be priced well, and you get nothing.
