Do I need a sales history to start dropshipping in eCommerce?

    I don't think you need a sales history for many distributors. I am sure I started using some without much of a history - maybe a few previous eBay sales for things I had around the house.

    However, you need to be a legit business for real suppliers. In the US, you usually need a state tax ID. US dropshippers who do not require this would raise a red flag IMHO.

    No, it's not required. All that is required is the legal requirements.

    Many larger dropshipping companies check previous history and this will only benefit your package. If you are a big time salesman/website then you will get some special treatment and a better package.
