need some advice with Ebay

Hi there,

I'm doing internet marketing since a while now, and i got an opportunity to get cheap products and sell them at Ebay.
i made a research and i can see that i can offer the same products for less than other offers i see there and that includes shipping and even free shipping...
i never tried to sell on Ebay before.
can you experts give me some good advice how to start my way on Ebay properly and whats the fastest way to start generating sales ?

    I had shops on ebay and Amazon for many years and made good money.
    Ebay is a low price output. So if two or more seller have the same feedback score and delivery time only the cheaper one will sell. If you are the cheapest the others will not sell or sell less. They will find out why and will lower their prices. Then you will do the same and so on. If you realy want to make money you need software to find out what items sell for a high profit and are selling quick and have only few or no competition. Then try to find them. Also focus on items that ar selling all the time, not only on x-mas.

        I was always using the pro version of baywotch.de. But this is a German software. Go to the the ebay.com forum or google for something like that. I have once seen a simular software in English language, but do not remember the name. Sorry.

    I suggest you try opening an FBA account with Amazon.
    I did it and was good decision.
    You send the items to them and they do the rest.
    There's plenty of free FBA info about it. Just Google FBA.
    Not to mention you'll make more $. The CS really works.

      Hi Meharis,
      thanks for the info. i will have a look at it.
      i dont have the products and thats the big advantage. i dont have to deal with the shipment as well. the company who sells the products ships them when a purchase is made. they have different products sent from different countries. is it a problem when working with FBA account ?
      you have to be an american citizen to sell at Amazon right ?

    Have you had a business shipping many shipments each day, controlling inventory and managing pre-post sale customer service questions, concerns and returns issues?

    If not, please do not attempt to expedite your selling adventure because you have a great source of product and can make good money per sale.

    Remember, you make money and secure your privilege to sell on eBay per satisfied/non-complaining buyer.

    Take your time and start small, work on the kinks build some automation and you'll be much happier in the long run.

      You can use Terapeak reports to find out your pricing. It searches ebay completed listings and shows you what's selling and for how much.

      The race to the bottom argument above is only somewhat valid. Many people (like me) pay a few dollars more for a seller who is close to them so they will get their item faster.
