Number of Suppliers and a Website

I am about to make the push to opening an online store in the following months. Still doing a lot of research though.

I'm not interested in building multiple niche sites. I found a name for my site that I really want to build and grow. I plan to start with drop shipping.

Is it usually 1 supplier to a website?
-I would think it would only be 1 supplier per site because if the customer orders 2 different products from different drop shippers, there will be a problem with shipping?

Of course the domain I want is not available. I used sedo.com and saw that it is taking bids. On the actual site, there is an email available for me to contact to make an offer.
Any advice on what route I should take?

Thanks for reading
Also my second post, but I been browsing a lot of forums lately and by far really really like this one

My biggest site has over 60 suppliers on it (all of the products being drop shipped) and shipping is no problem.

I use an app called eComHub that automatically routes POs (purchase orders) to the appropriate vendor once a customer places an order on my site. So if a customer orders 3 items from 3 different suppliers each one of those suppliers will receive a unique PO showing only the item that I need them to ship.

When the suppliers enter the tracking numbers the customer receives an email showing tracking information for a specific item (much like what you receive from Amazon when you order multiple products that ship from different warehouses). In this example the customer would receive 3 shipping notification emails. Each one showing the specific item that has shipped along with a link to track it.

    Hope that helps.
    - Anton

Use Whois.net and see if you can contact the actual owner. Start with a lowball offer and then slowly move up until you can come to an agreement on the price.

      Hey Anton,

I clicked your link for your WSO Dropship Lifestyle. I see the WSO for a $4.95 trial is over. Any chance to get something similar before spending $200?

Always try to use the actual manufacturer for the products you are selling. Eliminate middle-men as much as you can.

Okay, that brings up another question.
For example Panasonic would be the manufacturer and it would be best to go through them correct?

Then lets say something like Ingram Micro is a distributor?

Then someone like " Wholesale Company #1" would be the wholesaler/ Supplier?
