Newbie drinking from a firehose
Hello all. I just stumbled upon this site recently and have been pleased with the content.
I will probably be joining the War Room in the near future but thought I'd post as a peon first to see what response comes.
A little background: I have a Bachelors in Business from a true university and worked in finance for over a decade before walking away from it last year. It just was not my style. I have been selling on Amazon and, more recently, eBay for the past year and have eeked out some nice supplemental income in addition to running the mail on a part time basis. I would like, however, to be at home with my ever growing family so am looking to make full time income online.
After reading quite a bit here, I thought drop shipping might be an idea but after mulling it around, realize it would be too many variables out of my control. I like Amazon and eBay because I have the product in hand and can be sure my customers get what they are expecting.
I admit that I am not a tech guru and learned how to sell on these venues by doing it and stumbling along the way. AuctionDebtEliminator's advice on eBay has been great and has certainly helped the way I do business over there. I see a lot mentioned here on affiliate marketing and SEO and the like and it goes over my head.
If anyone is interested in getting some dialogue started as to ways I might be able to move forward, I would certainly appreciate it.
