Suggestions for Multi-Vendor Shopping Carts (WordPress)

Building a site and would like create a place where users can sell products (physical and digital downloads) like Amazon. I would like to use Wordpress and did not know if anyone had any experience and Plug-ins they would recommend?

If i'm correct, the plugin WooCommerce supports this with a special plugin that is available here: Product Vendor - Matt Gates

There are also clone scripts available for purchase that will allow you to recreate an eBay site. I havent played with the open cart module listed above but may have to but most people doing this are using Magento since I believe it has the functionality out of the box. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Compared to Wordpress, Opencart and Magento are safe platforms to build your muli-vendor shopping cart.

If you only want to use WordPress for your site eCommerce development. So, there is a free plug-in "DOKAN" available to fulfill your multi-vendors requirements. WordPress is a cheapest and easily solution comparison to other eCommerce like Magento & Opencart.
