Hey everyone,

I'm selling a couple OEM products from China (consumer electronics in a high-volume, niche category)

What are some tips and methods to improve sales?

Amazon gives you the usual BS "make sure your descriptions are correct, items are properly entered" - but how do you get traction on items here?

What are some tips & tricks you guys have used to increase sales

Any advice?

I've thought about the usual get FB, Twitter and other traffic to land on your brand/product page and then directly purchase on Amazon - but how do you get the word out that you're selling great products.

If nobody can see your product, no matter how well reviewed, well priced or good a product - well, you're not getting any sales.

Thanks

Amazon pages rank well. If you have an optimized somewhat generic page with your keywords in it you could always piggy back off it, and try to rank your amazon page for that phrase, i.e. iphone case - purple hard covered

where the target phrase would be iphone case

Internally you'll need more reviews. I would ask friends/family to buy and offer a "rebate" where you simply give them their $$ back in return for a review. Probably need to eat a couple hundred bucks depending on price but if it makes you top dog in the category your future earnings will cover the investment.
