I'm looking for the most thorough analytic software regarding incoming traffic analysis.

I work for a catalog company that practices, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, E-mail marketing, Name buying etc.. the whole 9 yards.

I need an analysis software that will bounce every sale against my current customer list - to inform me if they are a catalog customer or not?

Will i have to write my own script or is there a software that will do it?

    Hey Jinky,

The best imo is Google Analytics: Google Analytics Official Website - Web Analytics & Reporting ? Google Analytics
It's free, and has eCommerce tracking built in!

Hope this helps, let us know your progress
    Cheers,

It doesn't track conversions to source very well though does it?

I basically want a table that tells me: Source, Page Views, Conversions

The recent problem with Analytics is that more and more of your keywords are falling under the "not provided" section. So it is hard to know exactly what is going on.

And even if you install webmaster tools and link it to your analytics account, you cannot see which keywords converted to a sale... and more importantly, how much that keyword has generated in sales.

I have been looking for a solution for a while for one of my eCommerce clients... just no luck.

So in my eyes, Analytics is not a full tracking solution for eCommerce sites!

If anyone knows of one, I would like to know as well!

ALL analytics software will have this problem because Google started encrypting most search queries. So NOTHING will get around this.

Sometimes a person doesn't know some things are possible with Google Analytics.

malia is right, if organic Google traffic is what you rely on, there is no way to know the source (keyword) for the biggest part of that traffic at this time.

Here is a nice article, by the way, maybe it'll help with conversion goal setting
