Legal Pages on Ecommerce Sites

Alright, I've been drop shipping for years using offline methods and I've finally decided to build an ecommerce site. I've chosen a platform that I'm comfortable with and a payment processor. I have a very good understanding of SEO and why I need to write unique descriptions, focus on long tail product keywords, etc.

My question now is what pages should be included in addition to site navigation? I'd think that Terms of Service, About Us, Privacy Policy and Contact Us would all be necessary. However, after looking at some other sites both in and out of my industry, I'm seeing even more pages like, Our Story, Why Shop With Us, Order Status, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Safe and Secure Shopping and on and on!

What are the absolute bare minimum essentials to get started? I can always add more as I move forward. I understand that being more transparent will increase consumer trust, but I could build an entire site with these pages alone!

I'd appreciate feedback from those that are actually doing it. Dave, Anton, Ron, etc.

Also, if you believe that these pages are absolutely necessary, where would you recommend obtaining the legal documents?

Thanks guys,

Joe

The only things that are "mandatory" will depend on your payment processor and whatever requirements they have.

However TOS, Privacy and Shipping are essential but the other pages you mentioned will help boost customer confidence.
