Hi,

Today I purchased a DVD still in the wrapper for $1 and sells new for $16. I tried to list the item as new but I could only sell it as Used - Like New. Can anyone advice how to I can sell items as new?

I also purchased a watch for $30 which sells on Amazon for $75. I tried to list the item but it came up saying that it was a resticted product. Can anyone advise what this is based on. I dont mind if I dont sell it because it will be perfect for my nephew at Christmas.

Watches are a "restricted" category at Amazon. You need a seller account, and then you need to apply to sell in the category. See Amazon.com Help: Categories and Products Requiring Approval .

You really need to take a few hours and read Amazon's market place's Terms of Service. It would answer all of these basic questions for you.

    Otherwise you are spinning wheels.

I've had that happen before, for reasons that aren't clear, but I've gotten around that limitation. There are two ways to list your product:

    1) You want to sell X so you go to the product page and click on "Have one to sell?" with an Amazon button next to it. Sometimes I can't list something as new by going that route.

    2) But, if I log in to my seller panel, input the keywords and then list it that way, the "New" condition option is available.

See if that works for you.
