FYI for any WF member who is unfortunate enough to be recommended any of these suppliers... Avoid them at all costs.

They will seem legit and offer you some sort of 1 week only discount when you first contact them and they will be very responsive and courteous in their replies to make you feel at ease. They will promise quick turnaround on shipping and send you a professional looking invoice (they all use Freshbooks) but once you pay then the trouble starts...

E-mail replies will get much slower and you will get one excuse after another until demanding a refund or threatening with a charge-back dispute. I think the hope is that they can hold you off long enough to where you can't dispute the charge and then your are screwed. All 3 told me bold faced lies that my items had shipped but when asked for tracking numbers they don't reply or they give you incorrect information - VERY shady.

If you feel you must try them out do yourself a favor and use your CC so you can fight the charges when the times comes and it will.

Got my money back but had to open disputes against TT and Xoomtex... just wanted to warn others so they don't get duped as well.

I used two of the companies you mentioned, and I did receive the goods in several occasions, and another group of people on this forum has too. The only company that closed my account and informed me poorly about it, was Techtenacy, as you have point out to me; you've receive your funds from these companies via your credit card as" refunds " in the past.

Also you mentioned it on here, in addition on other parts of the forums, and on you prior PM's you've sent me. I'm not here to defend no one, but some of the companies you mentioned have very good feedback online. The ONE Techtenacy advertised their services here as Swiftroinics and on the thread said they operated as agents (brokers), so you get the long explanation on as to why they may or may not have products to sell (Well explained by the warrior member importexport).

Going forward, I only read about two bad feedbacks on this forum about them, saying they're disorganized and on more occasions I dealt with poor customer service. If you're a newbie in the industry of verifying your suppliers you will encounter problems like this one. I'm sorry for you because I followed you dearly on this forum, but I only see you and another member on here thus he/she hasn't talked much about it and myself. Take your time with this and try to verify your suppliers before doing business, if you don't trust your gut.

Feedback is an interesting subject. While feedback from members on WF is likely to be genuine, whether good or bad, feedback on sourcing sites, and found in Google searches is highly questionable.

Bad feedback is sometimes just a result of a customer not really understanding the buying and shipping process, but I think that more often than not it would be genuine.

On the other hand, positive feedback is much harder to believe. The reason is that there is a huge online industry supplying positive feedback for payment. Sometimes the supplier pays cash, but in other cases the feedback provider gets to keep the goods they have bought but the supplier has paid for.

If buying from someone in the US, even if they only trade with a dot com name, do a free check on BBB. Similar checks in most countries will cost you. Wherever you are, do a check by visiting www.ripoffreport.com where you can just type in the name in the search bar.

This should be your first step if you are thinking of using a B2B sourcing site to find suppliers. It can be a real eye opener. Type in the names of sourcing sites recommended on WF and see what you find.
