Does Multiple Affilaite Works? For Building Ecom Website

Hello,

I have been thinking of building a Ecom Site that would sell products collected from Some TOP Local Company's in My Country just by getting into their Affiliate Program.
But Before I start I would really need your Help to get hold on this.
Does This Thing actualy works? or its a Foolish thought?

If you please help me to get on the right track, I would appreciate.

    So, maybe I'm not understanding this correctly, but I'll try to take a stab at it.

    You want to source your products from local businesses in order to sell them online via your ecommerce site. Is that correct?

    I know of a number of people that sell products made in one country and sold in another, such as blankets or craft types of products. They are usually very successful.

      But Its not what I have sated above.

      I want to build a site that would sell products by providing the merchant name ,giving them choice which merchant to choose.

        So you want to do a straight affiliate "store". Nothing wrong with multiple affiliate but that also assumes each of those local companies has an affiliate program. It is highly likely only a few do.

        This part of the forum tends to deal with actual ecommerce whee we buy and sell products on our own websites instead of just taking a referral commission like you want to. I would ask in the main forum as they can help you there.

          Thanks for taking time to reply. Yes , I was thinking like that , in a bit different way but would definitely like to know any other suggestion you have for me.
          I can also start A Dropshipping Ecom as well , but dont have much experince regarding any of those. If you can help me out chosing which way to go for I will be glad.

    I think I know what you are getting at - you want, for example, to sell blue widgets. You have several suppliers where you get your blue widgets from. You want your customers to be able to select which supplier ships the blue widget for their order. Their selection would be based on nearest location, etc.

    Yes, that would be possible, but just not sure if there is already a solution out there that would provide this. You may have to have a custom plugin developed for whatever ecommerce platform you are using.

    Another idea is for YOU to select the appropriate supplier during fulfillment (not the customer). Your customers may not always know which supplier is best for them and could lead to disappointed customers if they select the wrong supplier.

    And I think you are using the term, "affiliate" in a way that is not normally used on this site. That term is typically used in the context of "Affiliate Marketing" but I think you mean to use it as in "partner." Your use of that term is part of the confusion of this thread.

    Of course, I may have completely misunderstood you in which case, please say so.

      No, You have correctly understood me and I am sorry for using "Affiliate". I really dont know which term is an Apt one .
      Thanks, I will definitely help them to chose the one which is best and ya , the store I will be mentioning have their affiliate program .

      But you can sugest me any other way to build a fruitful Ecom store, I am a new guy and really want to make something that will be my active income source
