Sony Drop ships?

I want to be able to sell a certain Sony product, not as an affiliate but on an e-commerce website drop shipped. Does Sony offer drop shipping for marketers that would like to sell their products?

No, they don't. They won't, and nor will any huge name-brand product.

If you ever find a 'name-brand' product that DOES dropship, then you've successfully found a cheap foreign-made knock off that will possibly get your fined out the nose, or worse, thrown in jail.

For example, you can still dropship Dell products, the problem is the wholesale price you get on them is many times the same or more expensive than sellers are selling on Amazon, eBay, etc.

For example Ingram Micro is the fulfillment company for tons of big name companies but to even sign up its $250 bucks unless you can prove you have volume.

You may want to try the affiliate route if using drop shippers doesn't work out for you.

  I have been dropshipping for five years so that is not a problem. I just wanted to clear up the misconception that large brand names don't drop ship, they do. Again, it is a question of Margin and authorization.
  
  For example, the Op specifically asked about Sony. If you check Ingram Micro's website you will see that they are the fulfillment company of Sony and Sony Electronics.

  Does that mean they will let you be an authorized reseller? Maybe. Will you get the same margin as a high volume seller like a Crutchfield? Nope. But yes, they do dropship, they just call it supply chain management services.
