Hey Warriors!

eCommerce has always been something that grabbed my interest and I find my self spending more and more time browsing through this part of the forum.

I'm also noticing that I'm starting to spend more time reading blogs on the subject and I'm curious to know what you think of someone who "seems" to be quite successful in eCommerce.

I haven't spent any time researching him hence the "" around seems, I've just seen his name pop up quite a lot.

His name is Ron Rule and his site is Ron Rule | eCommerce Expert | Development Advisor

Let me know if you guys know more about him, good or bad..

The reason for asking is that he has quite a nice looking guide to launching an eCommerce site and I want to know if any other Warriors can speak about him in general so I can get an idea if he talks genuine or not.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Joe Crosbie

I personally think, Ron is the real deal. Check out his latest product, I just finished reading it yesterday. Hands Off eCommerce With Fiverr You can see my review down near the bottom of the page.

Ron has developed a platform to do eCommerce and improved on all the rest around him. I am going to jump on his introductory offer that you can find in the book, so it is well worth the read.

I try to follow Ron as much as i can, as he has been there and done that. He knows his shite as far as I am concerned. He had a WSO on how to get massive amounts of traffic to your eCommerce sites that I think was gold, but I forget what it was called. Something about gift cards.

I don't think he's done any TV commentary for a few months, but Ron is a good guy and knows his stuff. We went zip lining together once last year and even then he wouldn't shut up about ecommerce or Batman, lol. He's also one of the editors for Answers.com, runs the entire ecommerce category (Ecommerce - Answers.com). I haven't read the new book yet, but it's a model I've seen him use so I'm sure it's quality.

Prior to my finding this thread I had never heard of this person but then upon doing a bit of research I found out that Ron Rule is an eCommerce Expert and Strategist. So, I learnt something today. What a very strange name though…very nice name.

I just bought his latest book. I can only say that the methods included are real, and you can tell he knows what he's talking about.

      And he's a Batman fan...a lot!

      And he's smart.

And my big question is "Where the heck is my thread?"

Real deal. Been there and done that when it comes to starting, funding, and operating businesses. He is a WarriorForum member who posts often. You can tell from his posts that he KNOWS.

And he is known, liked and trusted by Batman. No wait, he is Batman.

Ron's great. I've spent time with the guy in person and his depth of experience in ecommerce and DRTV is immense.

He told me he was planning on sharing an ecommerce WSO soon when we were together in Orlando recently. I guess he did it.

    Buy it.

Lol that right there is funny.

I've traded a few email exchanges with Ron and he has always been very helpful and informative. I bought one of his products and if this new one is anything like the one I have, I don't think you'll go wrong with having a proven step by step plan for making more money.

Ron has some amazing theories, like the one where you should not include keywords or links in press releases because of the damage it will cause. No one else out there is saying that. Really, I think Google is getting so smart with it's algorithm, they would know your site is being referred to, assuming you included the name (and that name was unique and well known, such as the Fiverr site). Though likely one link to home page might be useful, just in case for less well known sites.

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)

There is some amazing stuff around about selling physical products online. Much I would say is way overpriced (Amazing Selling Machines?)

You should decide how you learn best - is reading a book good for you or would you prefer to watch a video?

I would suggest looking at various books / courses and choosing 2 or 3 of them. Whilst no course is 100% perfect and you'll probably find that 80% of information is duplicated across all the courses -

You only need those one or two nuggets from each to be profitable. Eg if one course or book gave you a get method of increasing your conversion rate it would pay for itself may times over.
