Hi Everyone!

In case you were unaware, EBay changed its pricing structure effective October 1, 2013. You can read about it here:

Affiliates Object to New eBay Rule, Approve of CPA Pricing

I'm starting this thread for two reasons.

1) To inform those who may have been unaware of the change.
2) To start a discussion to see if Warriors give a "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down" to this change.

At first glance it is just the Amazon affiliate program. Except at least you still get some extra juice for new and reactivated accounts. This also shows (IMO) eBay continues to move away from auctions and push buy it now.

Ebay has to do something to try and compete with amazon. In my opinion more consumers are using amazon and their free shipping than ebay when it comes to online shopping.

That's probably a smart move because personally I only buy things that have a decent buy it now price these days. I wonder if everybody has been leaning that way because the novelty of online auctions has worn off
