Hi Guys,
Would appreciate feedback..

Does anyone know how the Pet clothing market is?

of these products?

There are people who will do niche and market research on Fiverr, you should try one of those gigs to get the answers you're looking for.

My old business used to rank very highly for all the dog clothes keywords. Sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts, jackets, raincoats, etc.

If you have nice products that aren't sold on every other website & if Amazon isn't selling the same products for 30% less than you, then there's a ton of volume to be had. In my experience, conversions were really high too.

The downside is a HUGE return rate. Like 10% or higher (compared to 3-5% on all other categories of dog supplies). Reason is because of sizing. When it doesn't fit, it'll get sent back.

If you find a niche you can do quite well, there is a large market for smaller manufacturers. I have one client that does harnesses, shirts and collars and makes decent dollars. The person above is correct, there can be high return rates but you can mitigate this by being very clear on your sizing information.

Are you looking to dropship, buy inventory or design your own? All the brands I work with have their animal clothing made in either china or vietnam so very few manufacturers in the US. Does this answer your question?

OnlineStoreHelp is right. You will find very few manufacturers in the US.

Some of the manufacturers that I have seen in China, Vietnam and Thailand produce some very upmarket items and that may be less crowded than everyday gear.

Just take care with your sourcing and do your due diligence.
