Launching e-Commerce

So I'm a web developer by trade, but started to build a couple of small e-Commerce sites for a few ideas.
Sourcing suppliers, mainly dropshipping and bring it in more and more wholesale bought items as time progresses hopefully.
My question is more about how to launch it and get it off the ground running, in terms of traffic and of course sales.
What are your approaches to getting traffic quickly, the first main site is camping equipment by the way. I have £100 for Adwords set up, how would you best budget this?
What other sources are good to explore, other than social media - SEO I get but of course it isn't likely to be effective over the very short term.
