You will eventually be able to receive your money right away. You'll also have to verify your account.

If you get the PayPal debit card, once the money is in your account, you can withdraw it immediately. Keep in mind that if there is a dispute you will have to repay PayPal promptly. If you sell to someone who turns out to be a scammer or using a stolen credit card, PayPal doesn't care, the bank takes the money from PayPal and you must return it to them.

As far as I know you need a business account to get the debit card. PayPal lists it as "PayPal Business Debit Card". If you do not have a business account, individuals can easily get a business account by simply signing up.

In order to get the PayPal debit card you must have a "verified" account and then simply apply. The mailing address on the "verified" PayPal bank account must match the address you us for PayPal mailing address. They match the addresses to prevent fraud.

They do not accept P.O. boxes so I had to change my bank mailing address to match the physical address I used for PayPal.

The debit card is by far the fastest way to get money from your PayPal account. I have to say it's helped me get out of a couple tight spots.

Here is a link (non-affiliate) to the overview page:

      Hope this helps,

Paypal debit card is not available worldwide as far as I know, you can get it only if your paypal is registered in a few specific countries such as US and CA.

Once money is in your verified paypal account you should be able to withdraw it right away, however paypal could make an exception for some "high risk" countries and put money on hold for a certain period.

Paypal has gotten a lot harder than it used to be when it comes to ebay sales. If you are new, or you do not regularly sell above a certain volume they will limit you to only being able to receive the money either 24-48 hours after the package shows "delivered", or 21 days, whichever comes first.

Once you have done sufficient volume in similar merchandise categories, they will remove the 21 day wait. But then if you switch to a different product type, it is possible that they might put it back due to lack of a track record in the newer product type.

But if you stop selling for a while, then the 21 day hold will return and you'll start all over again with the holds on your sales.

And all of the above is whether you have a Paypal debit card or not. If you have the card and this happens, when you login it will show "Paypal available balance" and even though someone has sent money the available might still be zero.

But keep in mind this does not have anything to do with sales outside of eBay.

I have been lucky and received a Paypal withdrawal to my bank account in 1 day, but don't count on it because it was the exception not the rule. Average time is more like 48-72 hours, depending on day of the week and if there are any weekends or holidays in there.

Also, I had a Paypal debit card, and I lost it so I reported it missing, and before they would send me a replacement they asked for a social security number. I thought that was a strange thing because the account was set up with a corporate tax ID.

A PayPal debit card works just like a normal card. Your particular bank may have a daily atm withdrawal limit of a few hundred dollars, though. If you need to move larger amounts of money around, you can get a card at Walmart or other places. I can't recall the name of it, but it carries the PayPal logo and is dark green in color. Walmart will load that card up to $1000 each card, That's the largest amount I've found anywhere. Then you go to your Paypal account and enter the scratch off code on the back of the card for instant availability. Log into PayPal and click on the "Withdraw" button on the secondary menu bar for a list of withdrawal and transfer methods.

I can withdraw my money immediately after receiving ebay payments, but it takes like 3 business days to move it into the bank account whenever any withdrawal is done. Have my Paypal account for like 5 years or so.

But until that, how am I supposed to ship items to my buyers, if I cannot withdraw the money?

You need to box it up and pay the shipping fees and once the buyer has the product you get your money.

If PayPal let people auction stuff and withdraw the money at the end of the auction, Ebay would be nothing but scammers selling hot air, and not bothering to send the air or the hot.

I don't know why ebay (or Fiverr for that matter) holds onto the money you earned like they do. I mean, they have already been paid, so what's the hold up?

I will say that with ebay, they eventually start paying you faster.

I am all for the Paypal debit card. It's a master card so it's so convenient. You can pay your bills with it, go to stores and restaurants, etc. It's so much better than waiting for it to slowly move into your bank account!
