Theme for a large nationwide Directory?

Your thoughts on this?

I was looking at 2 themes at theme forest from Airt but all look like perfect for a local directory and not for a nationwide directory.

    With Google lowering the importance of directory links, are you certain it would be time-effective to create and establish one these days?

      That's actually a very good question.

      The directory would be for local shops offering paint and accessories.

      As this is a commodity and people can and will go after price, selling it over the net is a logical step IMO.

      The stores will get a page in that directory with a weekly or monthly offer where the visitor can order right from the page OR we setup a coupon system.

      If I do this locally, only for a city or state, the directory will be kind a thin, so I will go nationwide, only for paying listings but cheap like 10 bucks a month.

      Over this I hope to become the Authority site for Online Paint Deals as we also will put in all kind of tips and tricks for the customers.

      Sounds like a plan but I would LOVE to hear opinions and suggestions.
