For virtual product need a script or a plugin for popular cms (WP, Joomla, Drupal) with base functional such as: recruiting, tree view, commission report, integrate with popular payments system, etc.

I know wordpress has a binary mlm plugin. I doubt you will find anything advanced. You may have to find a programmer to code it for you. See if you can find a warrior member who does coding to create a plugin or script with all the features you require.

I just started working on a MLM site using a Wordpress MLM plugin but I'm only using it to help my downline members recruiting efforts.

In other words, I'm not creating a MLM business - but using the WP-MLM plugin matrix structure to automatically place new prospects under members of my downline (overflow) to promote growth in width and depth.

The benefit is that while I am actively promoting the MLM business, my downline will get new signups placed under them automatically, and they can do the same for their downline using my website.

It's called WP-MLM (not an affiliate link)

The plugin automatically provides each new recruit with a link to the system in 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Potential member clicks on the MLM business offer (I'm only using this for one offer but you can set-up multiple offers if you choose). They are taken to the MLM company (or company's) signup page, and return once they've signed up.

Step 2: The now newly joined member enters their unique ID into the system which you setup in advance with the MLM business affiliate ID link, excluding the unique part. In example the ___.mlmcompany.com or mlmcompany.com/members/whatever?aid= or how ever your MLM business link is configured. The tutorials show you how.

Step 3: The WP-MLM plugin then generates a unique link to the recruiting page and the new member uses that link to promote the MLM business (or businesses).

That's all there is for the new recruit to do and they can then take advantage of the overflow signups that will help grow their downline.

During initial setup, you can choose how many front line positions are available to start with, the maximum number of front line positions, and how many recruits it takes to open a new front line position.

You can create a squeeze page or lead capture page as the home page. When you or any other member of your downline use their unique link to send people to the page, the leads are added to the matrix top down and left to right automatically, based on whatever matrix you've configured it to perform.

The members are given a personal profile control panel where they can add their picture and contact information. This is a great way to give everyone in your downline an online promotion website that's unique, yet still takes advantage of the sites social activity.

The plugin integrates with BuddyPress so it has an internal forum or local social network. This is great for SEO because the social activity of the members helps increase organic search results from Google and Bing.

I just started setting this up but so far it's been a very simple and intuitive process.

Since I am only using it as a free recruiting tool, I do not know if or how this integrates with payments.

If I have time, I'll try to provide an update on my progress in the future.

I hope this helps and if so, please use the 'Thank You' button to share some love

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a good recruiting tool for associates. Is the buddypress social network/forum going to be public? Or available after a login?

I've got an organic list of 5,000 for the specific products I'll be selling. Doing a direct marketing/home party/MLM spinoff from a manufacturer.

I might be interested in ramping up the list. Tell me how the leads are collected, any demographics specificity? exclusive? or is the lead hammered by a few?

      thanks.

Post Affiliate Pro will run an MLM down to as many levels as you want (after level 5 your start to run out of human population and might have to market to another planet though) and has everything included. It also helps keep track of commissions, creates masspay docs for paypal and has a content delivery system included. I played around with my own MLM a few years back and setting up was a fascinating experience. I bought the Platinum version which includes support and set up for life.

Hi Mr. Bill I saw your post regarding Post Affiliate Pro for an MLM program. I'm curious as to who you used to process payments. It's my understanding that paypal doesn't allow MLM processing and may even frown on certain multi-level affiliate processing.

I just used Paypal. They didn't seem to have a problem with it. Maybe I was lucky.

Post Affiliate Pro is a bit complex (but I figured it out so anyone can) but it's a real piece of extremely heavy duty and very popular, robust MLM and affiliate software capable of handling billions of users. I can't see WP(anything) having the power to match that sort of proper software.

If you find yourself needing to switch to real software mid stream your MLM will most likely collapse as so many do. If you're serious - get serious software. Starting your own MLM business is not something you can just "try" to pull off with cheapo or free software. MLM typically raises a lot of hope for people and it's often dashed by poor management and broken software leading to massive client revolts (as we've seen just recently) and eventually the founders find themselves riddled with contempt and it all collapses. Could proper software have prevented it? Maybe, maybe not but it sure didn't help and MLMers are notorious for demanding very high standards and will complain at the slightest sniff of trouble.

For the want of a nail...

Is there a list of popular MLM/network marketing companies and the name of the software platforms they use? that would be real helpful. If anyone runs across something like this, please post. Maybe from direct sellers association or something like that.

Even you can ask your software provider to customize the software based on your needs and requirements. AJ matrix is one among those software comes with many advanced features... Take a look and check whether it helps you,,, All the best!!!
