What's the best shopping cart with recurring billing?

I've built several stores with Big Commerce and love it. But I now have a client who needs recurring billing. Big Commerce doesn't offer recurring billing.

I've looked at Volusion and it seems good... but I've also read some negative reviews about Volusion.

Another option is 1ShoppingCart... likewise negative reviews.

There's also Wordpress Woo Commerce, which has a recurring billing plugin for $199.

Any comments and suggestions much appreciated.

A few more options would be to check out (depending on your clients location) Authorize.nets ARB, Braintree, Stripe, and Pay Simple.

I put one client on Volusion and did not like it at all. Themes are difficult to update and every tiny little thing is an upcharge. When it comes to hosted solutions, the most powerful I have found is Americommerce. Relatively inexpensive.

If you are looking at opensource, Opencart and Prestashop offer subscriptions out of the box as well. Just have to take the time to set up your payment provider properly.

The biggest issue I have with 1Shopping Cart is it really seems to be built for digital goods instead of physical. For example, if you are doing physical, they don't provide any zone based shipping.
