Ok, e-Commerce Warriors as alot of you know I am all about the dropshipping. Over the past couple of months I have really been digging deep into data feeds, different ways to optimize them, SEO, free vs. paid marketplaces to distribute them to and so on.

My question/s is, to some of you more experienced Warriors.

  • Of those of you that submit feeds, are you doing it yourself or using a data feed submission service?
  • What marketplaces have been the performing the best (i.e. Shopzilla, Pricegrabber, Nextag etc), not based on dollar amounts, but rather on products ordered?
  • Are you doing any other marketing to your site besides submitting the data feeds?
Also, if you own or manage an e-commerce site and have no idea what a data feed is or how it helps with site traffic then feel free to ask.

We provide datafeeds for our customers, we mainly use Prestashop, but also provide EPA etc too. If the customer is not great with technology, we can either install the automated feed for them or provide a fully loaded website for them.

I just signed up for datafeedwatch.com sti trying to figure it out but looks like it will be useful once everything is set up and in motion.

Plugs in seamlessly with a lot of main carts then you map the fields and it auto refreshes daily at the time of your choice once everything is set up.
