Hello, I just finished building a store using Woocommerce and I have over 1500 products (from a single manufacturer) that I need to upload before opeing it. They have a CSV file with all the information but the problem I am having is that I can't find a plugin that works. ( I have even tried reducing the CSV to 50 products and no dice) Can anyone suggest a plugin that they are using to upload products from CSV? I have tried all the free ones and they either dont have a way to match fields or they dont work at all. If there is another way to do it besides plugins let me know.

Thanks

Have you tried WooCommerce's own extension? CSV Import Suite - if it's not working for you then make sure you're using the accepted column headers.

yeah I tried that one but it didn't work at all (timed out i even tried doing a single product with no luck) everything was mapped properly. I had luck using wp all import but I am trying to see if it has a feature to use product variations before I fork out the cash to buy it.

      thanks

Get off WP and switch to a hosted solution! The time it will save you and ease of use is more than worth the small monthly fee.

    Good Luck!

It times out due to the size of the file. Break it up into chunks and upload. WP ecommerce solutions are not set up for heavy traffic or processing.

How are you doing with this?
There's less than a handful of plugins for this and the Import Suite from woo is the only one that does variations I believe.
Also, the problem may be with the php.ini settings. Your server may have you throttled.
Give some specific details and I may be able to help.
