Which Store Builder?

Hi All,

can anyone suggest me any good store builder for Plumbing goods, i have one of my clients who have plumbing shop and he asked me to build full eCommerce plumbing store but i need some advice on this and wants to know whats the best and cheapest way to build this as his budget is bit tight and he is only starting with 30 items but wants a store with full potential.

any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    I would recommend checking out OpenCart - it's free and easy to use. There's upgrades and "plugins" you can get for it once you've built your site, but it's a great way to get started. Just google "OpenCart" and you'll see exactly how to go about downloading it and installing it onto your site.

        You can of course use opencart / wix / shopify and similar types to build really good site. Of course you have to think about your budget and see how much you can spend.

      Thanks for your reply and no i haven't tried these as yet but i will do that asap, i am looking into open cart at the moment and it's free.

        Hi,

        If you are still looking around you may want to take a look at Volusion or Big Commerce.

        Of course, it really depends on how much money you are looking to invest, what your technical abilities are and how much sweat equity you are looking to put into it.

        P.S. You know that "free" is a relative term, support and follow up are worth considering as well.

      Those two are the best hosted ecommerce platforms out there IMO in terms of the software, pricing, integrations etc.

    Hi, checkout woocommerce by woothemes for an independent host setup and customizing.

    Their theme, wootique, is free as is woocommerce.
    I've setup a 10,000 item drop-ship site with that combination but you do need to do the setup work. Buy a simple extension/plugin from them and you qualify for access to their support.
