Hi all. I am in the process of adding a ecommerce business to what I am currently doing. and I really like this site here: Buy Shoes, Fashion, Home & Beauty Online - Fast and reliable delivery with Zando
so I am hoping someone can help me find out what theme and platform where used to create the site. here is another example Shoes & Fashion Online With Free Shipping | ZALANDO.CO.UK

The Zando site is built on the Yii Framework

    Code:
    http://www.yiiframework.com
The Zalando site is running on dotCMS

    Code:
    http://dotcms.com/

Just as an FYI, while that is using a CMS framework, you can easily do something like that using Opencart and Prestashop with a premium theme from Themeforest.

You can use a service like Netcraft to find out all kinds of information about a website.

Zalando is actually a proprietary platform. They used to use Magento until they reached a significant scale. Nowadays, they have their own team of folks and operate their platform in 14 countries.

They have an interesting IT/Ecommerce blog that details their systems.

You're welcome OP just head on over to:

        Code:
        http://builtwith.com
and input the domain that you're enquiring about in the search and voila! All you need to know (within reason) about the framework that a site is running on.

Does anyone know if there is a layered navigation for opencart that functions like the one on Zando.co.za? What I like about it is the fact that it , is that whenever you select a subcategory it then uses that as the parent category and then shows filters related to that specific category, while hiding all other parent categories. Not sure if what I am saying makes sense?
