Can someone please give me some feedback?

Hello everyone! I need to get some feedback before I start my marketing campaign on this website Netcom Online - Home page

The website was created with Magento and currently has around 140,000 products. Any ideas on what I should improve? Maybe changing the design a little bit?

Side note: Some of the static pages still need to be finished; About us, so on but that will be done soon.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

    My first impressions are that it's a well organized website. I only spent a few minutes surfing around it and can't find anything that pops out at me except that the slide show on the homepage is a little distracting.

    Overall though, It's professional and has a "big company" feel to it. I'd certainly feel comfortable ordering from it.

      As Bradvert said, your slider is a little distracting, please change it and add meta tags properly (whether it is title,description or keywords) to the pages that doesn't include it, it will make your site search engine friendly and it will help in website indexing by search engines.

    Nice work on the site Andrii!

    I agree that the site looks pretty darn good overall. Congrats on doing all of this yourself!

    Here's my personal feedback:

    Critical Issues
    • There's an overall lack of trust graphics on the site (zero "above the fold"). (FYI, trust graphics are things like seals, toll-free number, credit card logos and "above the fold" means what you see when you land before scrolling down the page.)
    • Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like you only take checks, bank wires & money orders in checkout? That is a BIG mistake if that is your long-term plan. Accepting PayPal and credit cards ON-site is vital for a good conversion rate!
    Minor Issues
    • I think the font size is a bit small throughout the entire page and could all stand to be stepped up a bit.
    • The overall look of the site is a bit "old school" in my opinion. I think this is mainly due to the font size and the use of dated icons (like the ones used for 'my account', 'my wishlist' & 'help & support').
    • I would use an H1 tag somewhere above the fold to tell visitors and Google what your site is all about.
    • There's really no reason to advertise being "under construction" and I always recommend that my students avoid it (same goes for maintenance mode).
    That's my feedback from a quick look at the store. All in all the store looks REALLY good! Honestly, I see less issues on this store than I see on the average site review I do for a student that has followed my detailed training... So nice work!!

    right side is cut off when viewed on my ipad mini.

    Also, why are there multiple pictures for products like this:
    Netcom Online - Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Server Win ML + Basic Support 12 Months - Featured Products

    It appears to be the same picture three times.
