Doing business in Singapore but am Canadian

Hey everyone!

I am living Singapore right now and want to set up either a drop ship eCommerce website or an affiliate website to help finance more travel!!

My question is whether I can set up a Canadian operating as business and do my business here or do I have to set up a Singapore business (in which case I am hooped with no work pass). I haven't picked my niche to market yet but if it were a product that is based in Singapore I would assume that I would need a Singapore based company....but if the product is in North america I am thinking that I can still set up a Canadian o/a and then basically have everything operating out of Canada/USA but be living in Singapore (gotta love the internet)

Thanks everyone! To me it is a bit of a complicated business organizational problem...
