How to get brand to drop ship?

Title says it all.. how do you get multiple clothing brands to drop ship items for you?

    That brings up a host of questions but let's start with do these brands already do drop shipping and you are trying to figure out how to become an official drop shipper for them or are you trying to talk someone who has never allowed drop shipping into letting you drop ship. I don't advise pursuing the latter unless you really know someone on the inside and even then they simply won't have the infrastructure to make it work for you. I have talked someone into letting me dropship and it is very painful trying to work with them because they simply aren't set up to do what I need them to do. If they do offer drop shipping then a nice, professionally written letter that explains how you plan to promote their products should do the trick.

      Thank you for your response.. I'm just trying to find a good direction to go in when building the structure of my e-commerce website. I have seen a lot of non name brand clothing that I might be able to sell but I know I wont be able to get the amount of profit that will be satisfying and I want to build trust. Check out Gilt.com. Do you think that they get permissions to drop ship or invited to drop ship because of their size or status? I never saw gilt.com in the early stages so I don't know if they started with no name brands in the beginning. Their brands are semi upcoming/ popular brands that are known. I just don't know the process. thank you

    as far as i know, branded clothing never use dropship system. branded clothing distribute their item to their official store
