Anyone have a brick and mortar store with a different business name?

I am thinking about opening a brick and mortar location but was planning to use a different name. The physical location would be serving a much more specific niche than the broader offering of my website.. does this sound like a bad idea or bad brand strategy?

    We do we use 2 different names. Q4 Signs and House of decals for the web just felt that house of decals was a better name for the web no other reason than that.

    So my next question is.. did you then create a website specifically for the brick and mortar name in addition to your ecommerce site? or did you just include information about q4 signs on house of decals?
