Hi Warriors,

I need your help in picking one of two website templates (from an intial list of ten) for an oil painting website my wife and I are starting up. We found a supplier in Asia who can get us really cheap original oil paintings of very good quality, that we plan to sell here in the U.S.

Thanks for your help!

Option 1: MasterArt - Home to the finest art and antiques on the web - Master Art

Option 2: Akrati Jewels

All the Best,

Doc

You should look into Lieberman's, which is a wholesale art print and poster distributor who will drop ship for you at good product discounts. They also offer web front end via a private label solution if you don't already have an e-commerce system.

I like option 1. It looks professional and i think it would suit your Art Store.

I agree with the others about the first one. It places your art front and center. The second one looks off balance. Good luck!

Both of them are good for your art store. But the first one is more perfect and looks professional
    Just my 2 cents

Gotta agree with everybody else and go with the first one. Something to think about for the future, I've always heard that lighter colored webdesigns are more welcomed by visitors. I think your design should reflect your product too, so if you are selling colorful, abstract oils you may benefit from altering your color scheme.

I doubt that is the best strategy to sell your art unless you really know how to drive web traffic. You should take your art to where the masses go to buy art, and not expect them to find your new website. That's not going to happen unless you buy web traffic. Try EBay try Amazon
    etc.
