  • There used to be a tool called the 'BayEstimator' found at: labs.*ebay.*com/*prototypes/*bayestimate/*

However, I don't think they use it anymore. I think they shut it down late last year. Shame too, it was a fantastic tool.

The best way to optimize a title is to think: Will people actually type in this keyword to find my item? If so, put it in the title.

Use up all 80 characters they give you.

Type in your item on eBay to get ideas that other people have as well.

No punctuation/misspellings/phrases that people don't use to find the item.

You'll do fine in no time.

I used a program called HammerTap (same idea as TeraPeak) that would find listings for your keyword, and show a list of all the title words along with the percentage of sold listings that used them. They also offered some other reports that were equally useful.

I stopped using them when I switched to eBay research tool (taken over by TeraPeak.) And I've stayed with TeraPeak since I am grandfathered into the original eBay monthly fee .

I haven't checked recently, but HammerTap only offered a 30 day listing check (or the same month a year ago) and that just didn't give me the data I needed for infrequently listed items.

Terapeak has a Title Builder but you need to subscribe to get it.

eBay has an alternative here: http://labs.ebay.com/Catman/

And there's this one which is OK: Title Builder - Free eBay Title Generator Tool

Good suppliers are all over the web but you gotta do your part and research, me personally is doing drop shipping right now, minimum $3 profit per item sold after all the fees. Not too bad for some extra cash to pay for bills and stuff.

Looks like you've no idea how eBay works.
If you go to the eBay's site map (very bottom) you'll get all that info.

You are obviously not here to help, so why are you here and why are you responding to this individual? He's obviously looking for some help on getting started.

I am also new to eBay selling, so I can't help him out myself, but as a general rule if you can't help you shouldn't respond. And you should never respond negatively to someone asking for help and information.
