    Hi Michael,

I've made a list of all your recent questions below. They were apparently deleted while I was typing, though.

Anyway, the reason is because most of them are very broad or vague.

    Here are your questions.

    You asked:

#1. is medical supplies business good to in??

Yes, but it's also extremely competitive. I'm not saying that it would be impossible to break into that market, but it would be a tremendous challenge.

#2. is buy from Amazon and reselling it on Ebay a good Ideal?

I don't see why not. If there's a profit margin after fees are accounted for, then why not?

#3. what is the average profit margin on Ebay and Amazon?

Do you have any idea how many hundreds of thousands of items are being sold on a daily basis between these two entities? It would be hard enough to determine an average profit margin for ONE single item across the board. Not everyone pays for or sells items for the same price. Most sellers are going to have a unique margin, though some may be similar.

#4. so do you have to sell in volume to make any good money on these places?

Once again, that's a very broad question. It depends on the product you're selling, the price you're paying for them and the demand for the product. You could sell cars, make $1,000.00 per sale and sell one per week OR you could sell cell phone covers, make $1.00 per sale and sell 2,000 per week for a profit of $2,000.00.

There are just way too many variables to be able to give a direct answer to a question like that.

#5. Is Ebay good to sell on?? I only sell ever were else?

It depends on what you're selling. You'll have to do very detailed research to find out.

#6. what the best ecommerce site to build

There are several to choose from and all have pros and cons. The most popular platforms are BigCommerce and Shopify, but I've researched several and really like the platform offered by CoreCommerce. That's just me, though. I haven't built my site yet either and may not at all. I'm considering leaving my current business model or cutting it down to part time.

#7. So do you have to sell in volume to make any good money??

See the answer to question #4.

I hope that helps. You have to be much more specific with your questions or people can't help you.

    Good luck,

    Joe

The industry is very saturated. I would suggest sticking to a target market (ie: surgical, or even vet supplies). Yes, they are all competitive, but at least focusing on one particular field makes you a 'niche' supplier. I think you would have better luck. It's also not super easy to get direct with manufacturers for the products.

I have actually been in the Dental Supply and Medical Supply Industry (for over 14 years). - I own a dental supply website that I am looking to possibly launch this year, but I waiting for the right partner to help me succeed.

    Good Luck!
