Reliable Liquidators / Small Pallet suppliers for merchandise?

Anyone know of some reliable suppliers of small lot / pallet merchandise for decent products that could be re-sold.

I thought of using liquidation.com but after reading a bunch of negative reviews I am going to stay away from them.

Any help in some suppliers with decent products and pricing would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

TedK

Just a thought, maybe try and contact local manufacturing/distribution companies. Many companies are sitting on a lot of slow moving/obsolete products (SLOB) and will sell them for pennies on the dollar. Most large companies will budget for an annual write-off for the SLOB products. Unfortunately there are companies and liquidators that are set up to purchase the SLOB so you will need to position yourself and pay a little more.

If you don't want to take the time to make the contacts, I would suggest looking for local asset redistribution companies and work something out with them, they mostly purchase goods from companies that go out of business, they will take truckloads including raw materials, office furniture and printer paper...everything. you could probably work out a deal with them but unfortunately they are only in larger cites.

the last option is to find going out of business auctions, I wouldn't know where to look but you could start checking Craigslist.

    good luck

I'm just south of Baltimore, MD and I have no preference to what I sell versus if I can flip it to make some decent ROI.

        Why... do you have connections?

        Thanks,

I don't necessarily have any more connections than anyone else on here but I have spent the last 3 months researching this industry. You can get ROI on anything if it's something you are interested in or something that you believe in. My husband and I both sold Kirby vacuums while in college, I sold 1 in like 6 months he sold 13 in like 2 months and he is the biggest introvert I have ever met but he truly believes those are the best vacuums on the market. I think 2k for something like that is crazy.

First you need to decide what you want to sell and then begin to find suppliers. If you are in Baltimore you are close to a large of amount of suppliers of liquidated merchandise. Do a little legwork no company gets going if you are not out working for it.
