Prestashop V/s Magento

Everybody has their own opinions as per their experience of shopping soft-wares. So, as mine too. Well, Prestashop and Mangento - Both shopping carts are extremely efficient, flexible and scalable. It is hard to say which one is better, but from the perspective of ease of use, I would like to recommend PrestaShop, as it has a more clean structure that is easy to manage and customize.

Here are some points which help us out to determine the comparison between these two shopping carts.

1. PrestaShop is easier to install than Magento
a. Magento has more out-of-the-box features than PrestaShop
2. PrestaShop has a lower system requirement
b. Magento doesn't have the compatibility issues that PrestaShop does
3. It's easier to customize PrestaShop
c. Magento provides custom features and options
4. Search capabilities are better in PrestaShop
5. PrestaShop is much smaller than Magento
d. Magento provides more themes for the user

Both platforms have SEO features.

    Magento has to been done right....More complex & a resource sucker.....a specialist Magento host is the only way....

    Prestashop, easy to use and play around with....For those new/small to medium in the e-commerce world, this is better option.....

    Final shout out to Opencart.....which is also a viable option for new/small to medium enterprises....

    As per my shopping experience, I prefer a website to be built with Magento. The compatibility to work with the tool gives a second thought to utilize the tool to make the things go alright in the process. The uploading of inventories are also the most efficient approach to work with.

    I will prefer prestashop against Magento. Because I had used both of them and found prestashop more flexible and easy to manage.
