This depends on country which you live. If you use PayPal as your main payment option, you need to be same with country of the dropshipper(s).

      Hey,

Can you explain this? Where that kind of information is from ? I have never had problems with Paypal payment option and I'm not using dropshipper from my country.

    Suppliers for what my friend?

Be careful with trade directories, most are middlemen or even scammers.

    Camcamey, good luck for you.
Finding a good supplier is not easy.
I agree with squidface, "most are middlemen or even scammers.".
Actually, middlemen are ok. You earn your money, they earn their money. Win-Win!
But scammers, you need to be careful. Every place have scammers.
Buyers are afraid of scammers. For the same reason, sellers are also afraid of scammers.
First deal, it's normal that buyer don't trust seller and seller don't trust buyer.
But if buyer and seller have a good start, then cooperation!

    So, you need to focus:
    1. Product Cost (Same product, you can find the lowest price everywhere, but who can promise the quality! Think more about it! One true there is no way to buy the top quality products by the lowest price!)
    2. Shipping Cost
    3. Delivery Time
    4. Payment Method
    5. Calculate How Much You Can Get
    6. Worth Cooperation or not(If no worth, then find other supplier!)

Erm...it's a big question. Hard to answer you completely. Need to do lots of homework by ourselves.
But I can tell you my simply point.
        Calculate
        1.Which niche you good at
        2.Which market you ready target
        2.What price you can get
        3.What price you can sell
        4.Retail or Wholesale

        Almost like:
Your Earning = Your Price - Product Price(They Sell) - Shipping Cost
PS: (monetary exchange rate, commission and etc)

Action right now! Try try and try! Then you will know how to deal with them.

There are lots of dropshipper directories online. However, it may take you a lot of time to weed out middlemen from suppliers or manufacturers. Google search perhaps, and look for the official website of the manufacturer that you want to partner with. Most of the time these manufacturers aren't comfortable dealing with "dropshippers" for their products, so it helps if you own a brick and mortar counterpart of your business to increase credibility-- but that's up to you.

You can contact these companies directly and ask them if they can offer to ship the item directly to your buyers (I suggest this instead of saying the word "dropship", for some reason).

If you wish to find suppliers from E-bay, it can be done. Just make sure that your product is competitively priced. You can find cheap products through e-bay that you can resell, but make sure to take a look at the shipping and handling fees.

There are other sites like Alibaba and DHGate, which offer cheap products from China. However, you should check the individual reputation of each seller you deal with as scammers are everywhere.

    Hello friend,

To find suppliers research the hottest products in whatever your niche may be then in google type "name of product" + supplier or "name of product" + distributor or manufacturer. Also if your looking for nonbranded items you can use directories like hktdc.com, madeinchina.com, or globalsources. Just make sure seller is reputable and has been selling for some time. Also purchase small orders using Paypal from suppliers before making a big buy and/or paying through wire transfer. If they don't accept that, be safe and move to next supplier.

Also for dropshipping (if not selling on Amazon or Ebay due to extremely high competion) I'd recommend tmart.com or dx.com (believe that's correct).

    Hope this helps a bit.

For suppliers, I have used aliexpress.com for a long time and it is quite good despite it not accept paypal. And if you dropship for US market, you can use tmart.com beacause the have inventory in US so that shipping process for US customer is faster.

Before you jump in and use the dropship wholesale suppliers recommended in these posts, or use the sourcing sites recommended, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Go to Ripoff Report | Scams, reviews, complaints, lawsuits and frauds. File a report, post your review. Consumers educating consumers. and type in their names in the search bar to see if you really want to deal with them. In most cases I am sure you won't.

The dropship wholesalers compete directly with their own customers and they give pathetically low discounts, such as 10% for VIP dropship customers on TMart. Do you really want to just work as cheap labor sales staff for them?

Most of the popular sourcing sites have a huge list of sellers falsely claiming to be manufacturers. They are really wholesalers. They buy from the manufacturers, add their margin, and sell to you, but you can place small orders with real manufacturers and pocket the extra margin that the wholesalers add.

I teach how to get genuine manufacturers to supply small orders even if they quote big MOQs.
