1. Has anyone thought about the business of becoming a distributor to online retail companies? Is it possible to have an online business doing this?

2. Is there a way to build an email list with ebay or Amazon?

    Don't have any idea of your First question.
    But yes you can capture the Email address of people who buys your products on AMAZON. or else if you are an affiliate. So before sending them to Amazon ask them to OPTIN to get access

    In answer to your first question, the short answer is "yes." Not only do I know of several businesses that this is their entire business model, but we have done it ourselves as well a time or two. The challenge is that people want TRUE dropshippers or wholesalers. If you are going to try and dropship for other companies as well as sell to the general public, I think you'll have a hard time truly being successful. People will catch on and will be determined to find your source and just go there directly. If you really want to build a model like this, I would suggest keeping it simple and only being a wholesaler, not a wholesaler and retailer.
